Hexagon Table Runner

My family has enjoyed the Hexagon Table Runner on our dinner table this week.

Using a ruler bought here and leftover Moda Martinique fabric, this project was made entirely of scrap stash!

I used Bella Solid in Bleached White for the inside border and backing. In retrospect, I should have used a creamier white - blame it on quilting after the sun goes down. Natural light is hard to come by when I get a chance to sneak a few stitches!

My seams don't all match up, but I'm okay with the overall effect. I doubt my mismatched corners will ever be a topic of discussion at meal time. And, if it is, well then we need to find some bigger problems to worry about!

Happy Mother's Day to all you mamas out there! :-)
